We are more than a pet food company. We have our very own charity, The Burns Pet Nutrition which is committed to improving the lives of people and companion animals across the UK. Originally created over 15 years ago, now as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, our charity work centres around three areas; countryside therapies, reducing social isolation and supporting animal welfare organisations.
We have a vacancy for a committed Trustee, willing to share their knowledge and skill in monitoring the operations of this exciting and vibrant charity. We are looking for a committed, experienced person with diverse skills. The Board is keen to appoint a person who has experience of charitable governance, both financial and regulatory, ideally with experience of working with third sector agencies and an understanding of countryside and/or rural skills.
Please note- all trustees are unpaid. The Board meets every three months and there may ad hoc tasks which arise where trustees may need to be directly involved.
