I recently joined the Burns Pet Nutrition team as a nutritional advisor, working on the helpline and live chat, and answering customer emails. I studied Applied Medical Sciences at Swansea University and completed the research for my dissertation with Nottingham Vet School, looking into potential chemotherapy targets for canine osteosarcoma.
I have a keen interest in veterinary science and hope to be able to do more research in the future. No two days are the same and not only does this job allow me to continuously learn about animal nutrition but also means I get to talk about dogs all day!
Random Fact: Outside of work I play rugby, and often go home to Buckinghamshire to see my Springador, Maddie! We enjoy lots of walks in the Chilterns.
My friends say if I was any dog breed I would be… a Labrador as I am strong, intelligent and loyal and I like swimming and running, but love nothing more than curling up in bed at the end of the day!
