Our New Packaging is now 100% Recyclable

Burns Pet Nutrition in continued efforts to reduce waste and single use plastic in coming years has this Autumn launched a new-look packaging that is simpler for customers to recycle.

Our previous packaging wasn’t recyclable unless each layer was separated and even then, it would have been contaminated with another material and had a plastic layer to it. The new packaging is 100% recyclable and is recycled by many local councils in kerbside collections.

We are an ethical company with a pledge to transition towards more sustainable packaging across all our ranges of pet food and treats and this is an ongoing project that we will be working on for years to come as new technologies become available. Continual developments will see Burns packaging also being manufactured from recycled material – contributing towards a more circular economy and out of the natural environment.
