In 2006, the charity was founded with the aim of ‘making a difference to the lives of people and companion animals across the UK’.
Since then, the Canolfan John Burns Centre has been developed and is now the home of a wonderful range of activities such as; practical life skill opportunities, arts based projects, environmental conservation, cookery skills, coffee mornings, chair based exercise and reading with dogs.
The Centre has a number of facilities available for hire; a Dog Adventure Park which is booked through an online calendar, Conference Rooms and bespoke Packages for users and newly situated Glamping Pods, all of which help to generate income for the Foundation.
Whatever the project, the Foundation aims to bring activities, events and opportunities to the whole community, offering opportunities for learning, socialising and improving mental well-being.
