Help for Recycled Puppies

Published: Tuesday, July 26, 2011

This week we stepped forward to help the unwanted litter of Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies which recently came into the care of RSPCA Llys Nini Animal Rescue, Swansea.

The litter of twelve, five week old puppies had been abandoned in a waste recycling box just half a mile from the rescue centre.  After spending the night crammed like sardines in the box, the puppies were dehydrated and weak but are making a good recovery.

Burns will provide Llys Nini with a carefully selected diet to ensure that the puppies fully recover from their ordeal and get the best possible start for the future. Our Head Nutritionist, Fiona Campbell, said “to ensure a long healthy life it is essential that puppies get the best possible start. Although this litter was not in the best condition when they were abandoned, we hope that providing them with a high quality, natural diet will help turn their lives around.”
