The Trust exists to help collies in need and makes every effort to place them in suitable homes. The Trust tries to carefully match dog and owner.
New owners are given advice on health, behaviour, training and diet. The Trust is always available to give further help and advice throughout the dog's life.
Their commitment to new owners of rehomed dogs is to take back any dogs should circumstances change and/or the owner encounters problems which cannot be addressed.
Before leaving the centre all dogs have a health check, vaccination, worming treatment and are micro chipped to aid their recovery if they wander.
Burns provide the centre with food, along with rescue packs which go out with every dog which is rehomed.
