Bernadette Bay and her amazing shelties are regular winners on the agility circuit both in UK and abroad. Bernadette, Zen (Obay Truly Balanced) and her daughter Zaz (Obay Itz Got Pizazz) were part of the winning English team at the recent World Open Agility Championships. Here is her report;
“Zen competed for Team England at the World Open Agility Championships in May. This is a brand new agility event developed as an International competition open to all dogs (pedigree and non-pedigree). We were proud that both Zen and her daughter Zaz were chosen to compete. In the end Zen showed her experience and won both an individual Bronze medal and a team Gold for England!
Zen will be on rest for the remainder of the year as she has been bred and will hopefully be having a litter of pups in August. To follow in her mother’s pawprints Zaz has started the competition year off by winning TWO Championship Certificates. This qualifies her for Crufts 2012 and she now needs only one more certificate to become an Agility Champion. This is amazing for a dog who is only 2 years old. Zaz has also just been chosen to represent Great Britain for both the European Open and the FCI World Agility Championships 2011.
As always thank you to Burns for their fantastic food that keeps all the OBay shelties fit and active!”
