29th July - Credit crunch tips from the PDSA

Rowan in our office has drawn my attention to the PDSA’s tips for pet owners in the credit crunch. One tip is not to cancel the pet insurance. Another is to consider a switch from premium pet food to supermarket own brand pet food. My advice to anyone considering changing to cheap pet food is - keep up the pet insurance.
You’ll soon be needing it!

Hamish brought us samples of our new moist egg, vegetable and brown rice food in a pouch made in our own factory. It is wonderful!! Lizzie our Collie seemed to suck it down without swallowing. But don’t try to order any; this was a trial run. It’s due out at the beginning of October.

Lat night I watched an episode of Wallender “based on” the Henning Mankell stories. In this one, the villains tortured and murdered a couple in their mansion after overpowering, tying up and kidnapping the German Shepherd guard dog which lived to tell the tale.
It must have been “Be kind to animals week” in Sweden.
The books are great though.
