We were most impressed during a recent visit to HULA Animal Rescue in Milton Keynes. There is a peaceful atmosphere within the kennels, cattery and other animal areas and all the staff and volunteers work happily, calmly and efficiently. The effect this has on the animals in the rescue’s care is obvious – they are also happy and contented.
We are delighted to announce that we will be supporting HULA by providing food for the dogs in their care. Help with food is invaluable for small rescues as feed is one of the biggest costs of animal care. By removing this worry for a while we hope to help HULA strengthen their foundations so they can grow in the future.
HULA aims to provide all animals it looks after with the highest level of care. They have an excellent ongoing programme of education and support for volunteers, fosterers and adopters. Lynne Davies is also helping with the rehabilitation of any dogs with issues and providing behaviour and training advice to adopters.
Burns are looking forward to working with HULA and hope to be able to help the dogs in their care start a healthy new life.<< Back to all news
